EVERYONE A CHANGEMAKER

Project Uday is aimed at building young leaders and change makers from tribal and the most vulnerable regions of Odisha. The project envisages to provide training, capacity building and mentoring support to enable youth to connect with their communities. It seeks to connect the youth to various welfare programmes, take up social issues and positively influence peers.

Three districts namely Koraput, Malkangiri and Rayagada have been identified for the project based on percentage of tribal population, literacy rates, development indicators, and vulnerabilities of young people and their communities to insurgent activities. These districts are also part of the aspirational districts identified by the NITI Aayog.
